Laser Compliance Statement
The Lenovo
™
Laser Mouse is a Class 1 laser product. This mouse complies with 21 CFR 1040.10
and 1040.11 except for deviations pursuant to Laser Notice No. 50, dated July 26, 2001. Elsewhere,
the mouse is certified to conform to the requirements of the International Electrotechnical
Commission IEC 60825-1 and CENELEC EN 60825-1 for Class 1 laser products.
Before the mouse is installed, note the following.
CAUTION:
Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than those
specified herein might result in hazardous radiation exposure.
Opening the mouse might result in exposure to hazardous laser radiation. There are
no serviceable parts inside the mouse.
DO NOT OPEN.
Some laser mice contain an embedded Class 3A laser diode. Note the following.
DANGER
Laser radiation when open.
Avoid direct eye exposure. Do not stare into beam or view directly with optical instruments.
