snmpInASNParseErrs
The
total
number
of
ASN.1
or
BER
errors
encountered
by
the
SNMP
protocol
entity
when
decoding
SNMP
Messages
received.
Note:
OSI
ʹ
s
method
of
specifying
abstract
objects
is
called
ASN.1
(Abstract

one
set
of
rules

representing
such
objects
as
strings

zeros
is
called
the
BER

in
X.209).
ASN.1
is
a
flexible
notation
that
allows
one
to
define
a
variety
of
data
types,
from
simple
types
such
as
integers
and
bit
strings
to
structured
types
such
as
sets
and
sequences.
BER
describes
how
to
represent
or
encode
values
of
each
ASN.1
type
as
a
string
of
eight
‐
bit
octets.
snmpEnableAuthTraps
An
object
to
enable
or
disable
the
authentication
traps
generated
by
this
entity
(the
switch).
snmpOutPkts
The
total
number
of
SNMP
Messages
which
were
passed
from
the
SNMP
protocol
entity
to
the
transport
service.
snmpInBadTypes
The
total
number
of
SNMP
Messages
which
failed
ASN
parsing.
snmpInTooBigs
The
total
number
of
SNMP
Protocol
Data
Units
(PDUs)
which
were
delivered
to
the
SNMP
protocol
entity
and
for
which
the
value
of
the
error
‐
status
field
is
too
big.
snmpInNoSuchNames
The
total
number
of
SNMP
Protocol
Data

(PDUs)
which
were
delivered
to
the
SNMP
protocol
entity
and
for
which
the
value
of
the
error

field
is
noSuchName
.
snmpInBadValues
The
total
number
of
SNMP
Protocol
Data
Units
(PDUs)
which
were
delivered
to
the
SNMP
protocol
entity
and
for
which
the
value
of
the
error
‐
status
field
is
badValue.
snmpInReadOnlys
The
total
number
of
valid
SNMP
Protocol
Data
Units
(PDUs),
which
were
delivered
to
the
SNMP
protocol
entity

for
which
the
value
of
the
error
‐
status
field
is
`read

ʹ
.
It
should
be

As
such,
this
object
