Virtual Link Aggregation Group (vLAG) Configuration
Virtual
Link
Aggregation
Groups
(vLAGs)
allow
you
to
enhance
redundancy
and
prevent
implicit
loops
without
using
STP.
The
vLAG
acts
as
a
single
virtual
entity
for
the
purpose
of
establishing
a
multi
‐
port
Link
Aggregation
Group
(LAG).

This
timer
configures
how
log
after
boot

The
default
value
is
300
seconds.

the
periodic
check
of
the
aging
status
of
synchronized
Forwarding

entries.
When
a
MAC
address
is
marked
for
removal
from
the
FDB
table,
the
entry
is
reinstalled
instead.
The
default
setting
is
enabled
.
Note:
This
option
takes
effect
only
if
the
aging
value
for
FDB
entries
is
set
to
40
seconds
or
more.

vlag
peer
gateway
Enables
or
disables
the
forwarding
of
packets
intended
for
the
switch’s
vLAG
peer.
If
a
packet
is
received
by
the
switch,
but
has
the
MAC
address
of
its
vLAG
peer,
it
will
be
locally
forwarded
without
crossing
the
vLAG
inter
‐
switch
link
(ISL),
thus
avoiding
the
loss
of
traffic.
If
the
vLAG
peer
gateway
is
disabled,
packets
addressed
to
the
vLAG
peer
are
sent
across
the
ISL
and
then
dropped
by
the
vLAG
peer.
The
default
settings
is
disabled
.
Note
:
The
vLAG
peer
gateway
must
be
configured
on
both
vLAG
peers.
