TFTP, SFTP, or FTP System Dump Copy
Use
these
commands
to
copy
(save)
the
system
dump
to
a
TFTP,
SFTP
or
FTP
server.
Note:
If
the
TFTP/FTP
server
is
running
SunOS
or
the
Solaris
operating
system,
the
specified
file
must
exist
prior
to
executing
the
copy
flash
dump
tftp
command
(or
copy
flash
dump
sftp
)
and
must
be
writable
(set
with
proper
permission
and
not
locked
by
any
application).
The
contents
of
the
specified
file
will
be
replaced
with
the
current
dump
data.
To
save
dump
information
via
TFTP,
enter:
You
are
prompted
for
the
TFTP
server
IP
address
or
hostname,
and
the
filename
of
the
target
dump
file.
To
save
dump
information
via
SFTP,
enter:
You
are
prompted
for
the
SFTP
server
IP
address
or
hostname,
and
the
filename
of
the
target
dump
file.
To
save
dump
information
via
FTP,
enter:
You
are
prompted
for
the
FTP
server
IPv4
address
or
hostname,
your
username
and
password
,
and
the
filename
of
the
target
dump
file.
