Port OAM Configuration
Operation,
Administration,

Maintenance
(OAM)
protocol
allows
the
switch
to
detect
faults
on
the
physical
port
links.
OAM
is
described
in
the
IEEE
802.3ah
standard.
OAM
Discovery
commands
are
described
in
the
following
table.

port
allows
its
peer
link
to
initiate
OAM
discovery.
If
OAM
determines
that
the
port
is
in
an
anomalous
condition,
the
port
is
disabled.
