Never remove the cover on a power supply or any part that has the
following label attached.
Hazardous voltage, current, and energy levels are present inside any
component that has this label attached. There are no serviceable parts inside
these components.
This section provides instructions on how to remove and replace the power supply.
1.
Remove the four screws at the rear of the chassis that secure the power
supply assembly.
2.
Open the computer cover. See “Opening the cover” on page 125.
3.
Pivot the drive bay assembly upward to gain access to the power supply
assembly.
4.
Locate the power supply assembly. See “Computer components” on page 83.
