8. Position the PCI Express solid-state drive near the PCI Express card slot on the riser card assembly 1.
Then, carefully press the PCI Express solid-state drive straight into the slot until it is securely seated and
the bracket also is secured by the riser card assembly 1.

9. Reinstall the riser card assembly 1. See “Replacing the riser card assembly 1” on page 160.
10. If you are instructed to return the old PCI Express solid-state drive, follow all packaging instructions and
use any packaging materials that are supplied to you for shipping.

applies only to server models that have a ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module installed.
The ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module protects the cache memory on the installed ThinkServer
RAID 710 Adapter. You can purchase a ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module from Lenovo.
Before you begin, print all the related instructions or ensure that you can view the PDF version on another
computer for reference.
