3. Use the following commands to install the driver:
• For LPe1250 (single-port FC 8G), LPe12002 (dual-port FC 8G), and LPe16002B(dual-port FC 16G)

cd /tmp
tar zxvf elx-lpfc-dd-rhel5-8.2.2.15-1-1.tar.gz
cd elx-lpfc-dd-rhel5-8.2.2.15-1-1
./elx_lpfc_install.sh
Notes:
– If the file extension is not .tar.gz, skip the second command.
– In the command lines,
elx-lpfc-dd-rhel6-8.3.7.18-1-1
represents the name of the folder where the
driver is stored.
elx_lpfc_install.sh
represents the driver name. Use the corresponding file name
on your server.
• For 5QLE2562 (dual-port FC 8G) and 7QLE2562 (dual-port FC 8G) HBA cards:
cd /tmp
cd / qla2xxx-8.04.00.15.5.6-k
./extras/build.sh
Note:
In the command lines,
qla2xxx-8.04.00.15.5.6-k
represents the name of the folder where
the driver is stored;
extras
represents the name of the folder in the driver package; and
build.sh
represents the driver name. Use the corresponding file name on your server.
4. Restart your server and the installation is completed.
Installing the driver for a CNA card
To install the driver for a CNA card, do the following:
1. Copy the driver for a CNA card from the
ThinkServer EasyStartup
DVD to your local drive. Double-click
the EXE file to unzip it to a folder. Copy the folder to a USB storage device and connect the USB
storage device to your server.
2. Log in to the operating system and copy the folder from the USB storage device to the
/tmp
directory
on your server.
3. Use the following commands to install the driver:
• For Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) and iSCSI over Ethernet (ISOE) protocols:
cd /tmp
cd qla2xxx-8.04.00.15.5.6-k
./extras/build.sh
Note:
In the command lines,
qla2xxx-8.04.00.15.5.6-k
represents the name of the folder where
the driver is stored;
extras
represents the name of the folder in the driver package; and
build.sh
represents the driver name. Use the corresponding file name on your server.
• For NIC protocol:
cd /tmp
cd qlcnic-5.2.29.45_130308_rhel5.9_2.6.18-348.el5
./qicnic-src-install.sh -b
./qlcnic-src-install.sh -i
Note:
In the command lines,
qlcnic-5.2.29.45_130308_rhel5.9_2.6.18-348.el5
represents the name
of the folder where the driver is stored.
qlcnic-src-install.sh
represents the driver name. Use the
corresponding file name on your server.
4. Restart your server and the installation is completed.
