Step 5.
Replace PCI riser-card assemblies, if needed.
Step 6.
Reinstall the top cover (see “Replacing the top cover” on page 151).
Step 7.
Slide the server into the rack.
Step 8.
Reconnect the power cords and any cables that you removed.
Step 9.
Turn on the peripheral devices and the server.
Removing the power paddle module
Use this information to remove the power paddle module.
To remove the power paddle module, complete the following steps:
Step 1.
Read the safety information that begins on “Safety” on page v and “Installation guidelines” on
page 297.
Step 2.
Turn off the server, and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
Step 3.
Remove the top cover (see “Removing the top cover” on page 149).
Step 4.
Remove the power supplies. (See “Removing a hot-swap ac power supply” on page 235).
Step 5.
Grasp the handle and pull the power paddle module up.
