During operation

If operating conditions are unfavourable (e.g. high input speed, small ratio, vertical
mounting position, high ambient temperature, ...), the gearboxes may heat up more.
Temperature

> 70 °C
Apply covers and warning labels
> 80 °C
Gearboxes with mineral oil (CLP) or for standard shaft sealing ring,

Housing temperature
During operation, check the drive periodically and take special care of:
¯
changes compared to normal operation, like
–
unusual noise, stronger vibrations or increased temperatures,
–
leakages,
–
loose fixing elements,
–
the condition of the electrical cables.

In the event of faults:
–
shut down the drive,
–
check the troubleshooting table.
