EtherNet/IP – star topology
The MA 258

can be operated as a single device (standalone) in an EtherNet star topology
with individual IP address. The setting is made via DHCP/ BootP.

EtherNet/IP – linear topology
The innovative further development of the MA 258

with integrated switch functionality offers
the option of connecting multiple gateways of type MA 258
i
to one another without direct
connection to a switch. In addition to the classic "star topology", a "linear topology" is thus
also possible.
