Solving equations with 2 or 3 variables
[MODE] [MODE] 1
[SHIFT] [Re Im]
Access to the menu to solve the equation.
Displays the imaginary part of the value of a
solution if the latter is complex (R<=> I displayed).
You have the option between 2 or 3 variables:
Or 2
rd
or
rd
degree equations:
Linear eq with 2 variables:
a1x+b1y=c1
a2x+b2y=c2
Linear eq with 3 variables:
a1x+b1y+c1z=d1
a2x+b2y+c2z=d2
a3x+b3y+c3z=d3
Once you have selected your option, the calculator will request the values of
the coefficients, and will then solve the equation before displaying the solution/
s in a user-friendly way. For quadratic or cubic equations, it is possible that
the solution found is a complex one, in this case
R<=> I
will be displayed and
you will use [Re
Im] to navigate between the real part, which is displayed
first, and the complex part.
E.g.:
3x-y=3 and x+y= 5
