Setting Speaker Sizes
The Speaker Size screen shown above can be used to set speaker
sizes and crossover points for the front, center, surround, and
subwoofer speakers. Refer to the manufacturer documentation to
determine the low-frequency response of each speaker.
Note:
Speaker size settings have no effect when:
•
A DVD-A is loaded.
•
The RT-10 is using the 2-channel analog audio
output connectors.
•
The RT-10 is using the digital audio output
connector.
To set speaker sizes and crossover points:
1. When the Speaker Size screen opens, press the remote control
and
arrows to highlight the desired parameter.
2. When the desired parameter is highlighted, press the
and
arrows to cycle through available settings.
3. When the desired setting is selected, press the
arrow to
highlight the Size option at the top of the on-screen display.
Then, pressing the
arrow to open the Speaker Distance
screen or the remote control ENTER button to return to the
Setup menu.
Note the following:
•
When setting the C, LS, and RS parameters, select Small to
apply a 100Hz crossover point through the associated
channel(s). Select Large to provide full-range audio output
through the associated channel(s). Select Off if the associated
speaker is not present.
•
If the low-frequency response of the associated speaker cannot
be determined, select Small if the main cone of the associated
speaker is less than 6 inches (12cm). Select Large if the main
cone of the associated speaker is greater than 6 inches (12cm).
