If both the number and the tone signal are entered in the phone
book memory, the call can be made and the tone signal can be
staged simultaneously.
First go to the Phone Book screen by touching
on the console display.
If numbers that include tone unison sending data are downloaded
into the speed dial memory, place the call from the command mod-
ule. This will result in the Call screen being displayed. (Refer to
pages
20
–21.)
Also, you can place the call using a voice tag. This too, will result
in the Call screen being displayed. (Refer to pages
32
–36.)
Tones can be sent by going to the Call screen. (Refer to page
48
.)
INFORMATION
Phone memory transfer must be completed before you use this
section of this manual.
CAUTION
While the vehicle is in motion operate the system ONLY WHEN
SAFE to do so.
Select an entry from the phone book list. When a registered
number that contains a tone signal is chosen, the number will
then be displayed in the upper window.
The upper window can display up to 32 characters
including w ’s.
Touch
on the console display and the Details of Entry screen
will display
up to 44 characters including w ’s. (Refer to page 48,
Details of Entry screen.)
