Barge In
Description
An authorized station can intrude on an active call at another Station. The intruding station
can monitor the call and may be allowed to join and disconnect the active call.
Operation
To Barge-in from a DKT,
1. Call the busy station and receive busy tone.
2. Use the navigation buttons to expose and select the [MONITOR] softkey
3. Warning tone is given to the existing conversation and the intruding user can monitor
the conversation.
4. Select the [JOIN] softkey to join the conversation.
5. Once joined in the conversation, use the [DROP] softkey to disconnect from the call.
Consideration
Barge-in is not permitted on a call placed by an Attendant.
