Conditions
1. Messages are retrieved in LIFO (Last in First out) order.
2. The default password
for voice mail is „
‟.
3. If the user removes the password for voice mail, access to the voice mailbox is not possible.
4. If password is lost or forgotten, first remove the password using the LWS-BS station and change
the password at his phone (refer to operation).
3.15.4.3 Remote Message Retrieval
Description
The system permits remote users access to their mailbox. After accessing the VSF Voice Mail, operation
follows the local procedures.
Operation
To access Voice Mailbox from a remote location
1. Lift the handset.
2. Dial the W-SoHo using one of the numbers assigned to be answered by the Auto Attendant.
(refer to the 3.25.2 Auto Attendant Announcement)
3. When answered
dial „#‟ to receive the “Enter password” prompt.
4. Dial the Mailbox number (station number) and corresponding password (I.E. 100*) to access
the voicemail box.
5. Dial desired option code.
6. When finished hang-up to end call.

3.15.4.4 Message Retrieval Options
Description
The user may dial the digit 9 to receive the “VM Long Options” prompt while in the Voice Mailbox, including
during or after a voice message or system prompt, except when an option has been selected that requires
user dialing. Some options involving user dialing include the Message Retrieval Option 1/2 (Play
New/Saved Message), 7 (Cancel or Forward message, Remote Access Only) or 8 (Mailbox settings), refer
to Table. The “VM long Options” prompt is:
