5. Deflection Data Adjustment
5-1. Adjustment Preparation
(1) Receive the Digital Pattern.
(2) Using Remote Control for adjustment.
(3) Select the SERVICE 2 in the SERVICE MENU by pressing
LINE SVC MODE(IN-START KEY) and enter deflection
adjustment mode by pressing VOL + Key.
(4) Using the CH +, CH - Key for select the adjustment item.
(5) Using the VOL +, VOL - Key for increase/decrease data.
5-2. Adjustment
(1) First, adjust deflection data at N50Hz(PAL) and adjust at
N60Hz(NTSC), Z60Hz, N50Hz, W50Hz, Z50Hz. (with ARC
Model)
(2) Only adjust N60Hz(NTSC).
(3) After finishing deflection adjustment, press the “ENTER “
key to enter(before pressing the IN-START Key) or exit in
Service mode. (EXIT KEY)
(4) V SLOPE
When you select the V SLOPE adjustment Mode, a half of
the lower screen is Blanking.
At this time, adjust the Blanking Line and geometrical
vertical center-line to be identical.
(5) V SHIFT(VS)
Adjust so that the horizontal center line of a digital circle
pattern is in accord with geometric horizontal center of the
CPT.
(6) V LINEAR(VL)
Adjust until upper and lower screen are symmetrically
equal in Digital Pattern.
(7) V AMPLIT(V AMPITUDE)
NTSC signal: Adjust so that the circle of a digital circle
pattern may be located within the effective
screen of the CPT.
(8) H SHIFT(HS)
Adjust so that the vertical center line of a digital circle
pattern is in accord with geometric vertical center of the
CPT.
(9) EW WIDTH(EW)
Adjust to that a digital circle pattern looks like exact circle.
(10) EW PARAB(EW PARABOLA)
Adjust so that middle portion of the outermost left and right
vertical line looks like parallel with vertical lines of the CPT.
(11) EW TRAPE(EW TRAPEZOID)
Adjust to make the length of top horizontal line same with it
of the bottom horizontal line.
(12) EW UPCOR & EW LOCOR
After finished EP adjustment, adjust vertical line of left-
bottom, right-bottom and left-top, right-top of screen to the
best straight line.
(13) H BOW
After finished EP adjustment, adjust until symmetrize
upper and lower corner of the screen.
(14) H PARALL(ANGLE)
Adjust the vertical slope.
(15) SCORRECT(S CORRECTION)
Adjust so that all distance between each lattice width of
top/center/bottom are to be the same.

(16) V SCROLL
Adjust so that the geometric vertical center line is in accord
with vertical center line of CPT.
(17) V ZOOM
Setting the CPT Default(Initial data) value like that,
because it is decide by CPT DY value
