Recording
Timer Recording
This recorder can be programmed to record up to 7
programs within a period of 1 month. For unattended
recording, the timer needs to know the channels to be
recorded, the starting and ending time.
1. Press TIMER REC.
The [Timer Recording] list screen will appear.
2. Select [New Input] then press ENTER.
The Timer Record menu will appear.
[Date] Choose a date up to 1 month in advance.
[Start] Set the start time.
[Stop] Set the stop time.
[Input] Choose a memorized program number,
or one of the external inputs from which to
record.
[Repeat] Choose a desired repeat (Once,
Daily, Monday-Friday, or Weekly).
[Mode] Set a recording mode. (HQ, SQ, LQ,
EQ)
[Title] Edits the title name. Press REC (
z
) to
changes the title name. The display for entering
characters appears. To enter characters, see
page 39.
3. Enter the necessary information for your timer
recording(s).

(left/right) – move the cursor left/right

(up/down) or number buttons – change
the setting at the current cursor position
Press ENTER after filling in all the program
information.
Press TIMER REC to exit the Timer Record
menu.
4. Press ENTER, the program will be memorized by
the recorder.
To check the programming, the [Timer Recording]
list screen will appear.
[Result] field’s [Valid] on the [Timer Recording] list
screen indicates that the timer recording is
programmed correctly.
5. Press TIMER REC to exit the Timer Recording list.
6. Make sure that you load a recordable DVD disc for
recording.
