2.5  Install the R-UIM card.

1. Insert and slide the R-UIM card into the R-UIM

card holder Make sure that the R-UIM card is
inserted properly and that the gold contact are
on the card is facing downwards.

2. To remove the R-UIM card, press down lightly

and pull it in the reverse direction.

The metal contact of the R-UIM card Can be easily
damaged scratches. Pay special attention to the 
R-UIM card while handing. Follow the instructions
Supplied with the R-UIM card.

3. Make sure the power is off before you remove

the R-UIM card. Removing the R-UIM card from
the phone when the power is on may cause the
phone to malfunction.

4. Some of menu are working properly, when R-UIM

card are installed.
ex) Names/UIM, Messages/Archive in UIM,

Security/UIM Setup, Joy Box/UTK...

5. If you enter the PIN code incorrectly into the

phone 3 times in a row, then the R-UIM card will
be blocked and you will require a PUK code from
your network/service provider.

Please follow the procedure below to install the phone properly.

Connect base-
handset to the
handset connector.

Turn the antenna
upright.

If you want to use the
R-UIM card. open the
battery cover and
insert the card.

Connect the antenna
to the TNC connector
(Turn right).

When you first use the
Phone, please Turn

switch.
