ÒUnknown config commandÓ
This message will appear when OPEN is scanning a configuration file and en-
counters a configuration command it doesnÕt recognize. Configurations are
discussed in Chapter 16, and a complete list of commands is given in
The program will display the offending command between single quotes,
such as
Ô/CO2Mixer=Õ
If you have recently been editing a configuration file, and the problem com-
mand is something you entered, then youÕll need to edit that file and fix the
problem. You can either use the Config Editor (page 16-15), or simply edit
the file with Standard Edit from the Filer (highlight the file, and press
E
).
If the offending command is not in your configuration file, and it appears to
be a calibration-related command, then use the program ÒVerify CalibrationÓ
(see page 21-20) to edit the calibration file and fix the problem.
Why should the calibration file become corrupted? Well, it shouldnÕt. How-
ever, in OPEN 3.01, there was a bug that allowed this file to be corrupted un-
der certain circumstances when using the Installation Menu to install a new
1
external quantum sensor or a new LED source. So, get your calibration sheet,
and use ÒVerify CalibrationÓ to fix the file. Look especially for missing cali-
bration items, such as CO2Cal=. Examples of ÒproperÓ calibration files are
given in Figure 16-10 on page 16-10, and on page 21-20.
1.
ÒnewÓ means there wasnÕt one installed before.
