Using the LI-6400

ÒReset to Factory DefaultsÓ
This program is designed to put the LI-6400 into a ÒknownÓ state quickly. It
simply implements the master list without any user list. It is functionally
equivalent to
ÒReset to User ConfigÓ
, and selecting
“Factory Default”
(provid-
ed
“Factory Default”
is an empty file).
The user is prompted for one thing:
Re-install config files? (Y/N).
Pressing
Y
will reinstall the configuration files (on the current config disk,
typically /User). Pressing
N
will skip that, and pressing
escape
will abort.
ÒReset to User Configuration
This program allows the user to select a configuration (provided there is more
than just
“Factory Defaults”
in the
“Configs/UserPrefs”
directory. After implement-

The following commands can be used in a configuration file. For the most up
to date list valid for whatever version of OPEN you are running, press the
Help
function key in the Configuration Menu. There may be changes de-
scribed there that occurred after this writing.
AREA=
Sets the leaf area parameter. Note that this can be set in New Measurements
mode as well. Leaf area is a system variable (ID number -33).
