Use
Brakes
The brakes of the Cumulix are correctly
adjusted ex factory. Your Cumulix has drum
brakes with a parking option.
Setting the parking option
1. Squeeze brake lever B.
2. Pull the red parking option knob towards
you on both sides until latched.
When the parking brake is engaged, the
brake lever remains pressed in.
Adjusting the brakes
It may be that over the years the braking
power decreases or is no longer uniform
for both wheels. You should then adjust the
brakes.
1. Loosen the locknut (C).
2. Turn the adjustment bolt (D) outwards*.
3. Check that the braking power is adequate.
4. Adjust it again if necessary.
5. Tighten the locknut (C).
6. Repeat this on the other side, if required.
