Before doing a Check Strip
test, make sure the Test
Strip Holder and the Test
Area are clean, dry, and lint-
free. Check that the white
and purple surfaces of the
Check Strip are clean and
dry. For cleaning
information, see
Cleaning
and Maintaining the Check
Strip
in this chapter. Do
Check Strip tests at room
temperature— between 18°C
and 26°C (64°F–79°F).
