Replacing the Batteries
The OneTouch
®
Profile
®
Meter comes
with batteries already installed.
When the batteries need to be
replaced, use two AAA, 1.5-volt
alkaline batteries.
The batteries should last about one
year when testing up to four (4)
times a day. When the battery symbol
appears on the meter display, the
batteries are getting low.
You will still be able to test with low
batteries, but you should replace them
as soon as possible. If batteries get too
low, the meter will
not
operate.
When the following appears flashing
on the display
the meter will no longer give results
and you must replace the batteries
before you can perform another test.
The meter’s current time and date
settings are saved for a minimum
of 30 minutes after the batteries
have been removed. After that you
may need to reset the time and date.
