WARNING: When programming remotes to garage motors please be aware that some motors may 

carry high voltage, 220-240 volts or higher. If you must expose live or unterminated cables during the 

programming process, please contact a licensed and trained garage service technician to program for 

you. Failure to do so may result in injury or death.

1. Make sure your garage door is clear of any obstruc�ons, as the motor you are programming to may 

operate during this process.

2. Locate the “Learn” bu�on on your garage door motor’s control panel on your motor. On some 

models the light cover needs to be opened to reveal the “Learn” bu�on.

(Note: depending on the model of your motor the “Learn” bu�on maybe labelled as “Code, Code Set, 

LRN, Radio Set or S”).

3. On your new Li�away remote, press and hold the bu�on on the remote that you have cloned in 

previous steps.

4. Press the “Learn” bu�on on your garage motor control panel for two seconds then release.

5. Wait two seconds then release bu�on on your new remote.

6. Test opera�on of your new remote.
