- take the forks up to their maximum height;
- set the control lever of the drive stick to POS: -1- (in the middle)
- ensure that the drive stick (228) is in a vertical position;
- unscrew the lock nut (2) and slowly turn the regulating screws(48) in a clockwise direction until attaining the descending
movement of the forks;
- as soon as the descending movement is reached, rotate the regulating screws (48) for one and a half turns in an anti-
clockwise direction, then tighten the lock nut (2);
- by acting on the drive stick it should be possible to obtain the descending movement regardless of the position of the
drive stick.
C) OIL LEVEL (see figure D/ page 3)
Check the oil level every 6 months.
NB: use hydraulic oil, with the exclusion of engine and brake oils. OIL VISCOSITY
30 Cst at 40°C; TOTAL VOLUME 0.3 L.
With the forks completely lowered carry out the following operations:
- remove the protective guard from the tank (204), the o-ring gasket (11) and the lid (202);
- if necessary top up with oil up to 20 mm from the upper rim of the tank;
- activate the pump several times to let all air out of the hydraulic circuit;
- reassemble in the reverse order, with first the lid (202), the gasket (11) and the guard (204);
BATTERY LIFE (16.3)
The transpallet is equipped with an automatic cut-off, and if it remains unused for about 5/6 minutes it turns off
automatically, thus lengthening the battery life.
The data regarding battery life is to be intended in reference to the periods of continuous running.
With 6 Volt 1.1A batteries the duration is approx. 30 hours (continuous use).
BATTERY RECHARGING
Whenever the instrument indicates bt0 it means that the battery is becoming flat and needs to be recharged.
The recharging is carried out by inserting the relative plug of the battery charger into the corresponding connector on the
left hand side of the display holder of the transpallet, and is indicated by the lighting up of the lamp situated on the battery
charger itself.
If the instrument is not recharged then it will automatically turn off once the pre-set threshold voltage for the battery is
reached.
It is recommended that the batteries be allowed to recharge for approximately 12-14 hours.
