Universal Device Select
The counter will respond to all commands given after the
U
command,
regardless of its programmed Location Address.
If more than one counter is connected to the Serial Port, the use of the
U
command will cause communication problems because all counters
will respond at the same time.
The
U
command is turned off by sending any Device Select address as
described above.

Commands
The general forms of a Configuration Command are displayed in Table
A-2 and Table A-3.
AAd[CRLF]
where:
•
AA
is the command field and is always capitalized
•
d
represents an argument, which may be numeric or a string,
depending on the command. The argument immediately follows the
command with no space between them.
•
[CRLF]
means carriage return and line feed. When it appears at
the end of a command,
