6. Troubleshooting
Problem
Causes
Solution
The motor does not work
when you press the
remote control button.
- The motor is off.
- The limit swich isn’t / stay programmed.
- The fuse has blown.
- The remote control is damaged.
- T h e r e m o t e c o n t r o l h a s b e e n
deprogrammed.
- Photocells activated.
- Check the remote control battery.
- Replace the fuse.
- Use another remote control or use the motor control buttons.
- Re-program the motor limit switches.
- See the point 5.3.
- See the point 5.6.
- See the point 5.8.
Setting position not saved. -Door setup for opening and/or closing in
improper position.
-Springs incorrectly balanced or door badly
adjusted.
- The door is working with too much efford or
with too much force / pressure against to
Floor.
- Side hinges to tight.
-Repeat the Setting of the chapter 5.2.1 to 5.2.5, and try not to
open the door too much, or don't close it too hardly the rubber
seal against the floor. To adjust the door in both end positions,
use the buttons "DOWN" or “UP” before you press the “SET”
button.
- Verify the number of turns in the torsion spring (see the CE
label), and verify if the door works manually, if needed you can
adjust the door.
-Set a gap to side hinges.
- If the other solutions don't work, you can increase the engine
power (chapter 5.5) one more level.
The remote control does
not have range.
- The remote control battery without load.
- Receiver damaged.
- Presence of a magnetic field or a
frequency that interferes.
- Replace the remote control battery.
- Purchase an external receiver and put it out reach of the
interference.
The door does not close
completely.
- The closing force is insufficient.
- The course of the motor has been
programmed incorrectly.
Side hinges badly ajusted.
- Adjust the closing force.
- Adjust the course of the motor.
- Set a gap to side hings.
The chain is noisy.
- The chain is too loose.
- The motor rail is not aligned with the center
of the door.
- Tighten the chain.
- Align the motor rail with the center of the door.
- Grease the chain.
Door stops during the
opening.
- The opening force is not sufficient.
- The door is too heavy.
- The motor lacks power.
- The course of the motor has been
programmed incorrectly.
- Adjust the opening force.
- Adjust the course of the motor.
- Adjust the tension of the springs.
Display with "P" and the
motor led flashing.
- Electronic card error.
-Contact the supplier for replacement.
Door don’t close / Display
with "r".
- Photocells function activated.
- Without the photocell kit installed: Go to menu 5.6 and confirm
that it is in position "II".
- With the photocell kit installed:
- Check the photocell connections.
- Check alignment of photocells.
Display with "H".
- Missing the Shunt on the board.
- Gearmotor with anomaly.
- Check / place the Shunt (unless you have a Pass door).
- Contact the supplier for replacement.
