Instructions regarding the check points
8 Flexlink / Lift arm joint / Slingbar bolt
Max wear: M = X -3mm
Pull out the Flexlink and check for wear
by measuring with the sliding caliper. Re-
place link with Spare Part No. 20490049,
if its worn more than 3mm (0,12 inch)
Reassemble in reverse order.

Inspect Flexlink:
1. Remove covers.

Inspect shell covers for cracks or gaps.
3. Pull out the Flexlink and check for wear. Re-assemble in reverse order.
4. Lift up the slingbar and then release, so that it falls to the lowest position. If the link does not fall to the lowest
position, the screw is too tight.
Inspect Slingbar bolt:
(Universal SlingBar and Universal TwinBar)
1. Check slingbar bolt for wear.
2. Remove slingbar centerbolt and bearing, wipe of any dirty,
dust or residue. (Universal Twinbar)
3. Reassemble in reverse order pivot slingbar centerbolt
within the Flexlink. If the slingbar is binding, the screw is too tight.
