MAINTENANCE

ELECTRIC SHOCK CAN KILL
• Only qualified personnel should per-

form this installation.

• Turn the input power OFF at the dis-

connect switch or fuse box before
working on this equipment.

• Do not touch electrically hot parts.
• Do not operate with covers removed.

Keep the work area clean and free of combustible
materials. Prevent debris and objects from obstructing
air flow around the Pro-Cut.

Check the filter elements every several months to see
if they are clogged (weekly in very dirty environments).
Replace if necessary.

Inspect the cable periodically for any slits or puncture
marks in the cable jacket.

Replace if necessary.

Check to make sure that nothing is crushing the cable
and blocking the flow of air through the air tube inside.
Also, check for kinks in the cable  and relieve any so as
not to restrict the flow of air to the torch.

Replace the electrode when the pit in the center of the
electrode is deeper than .060" (1.5 mm) or when the
copper portion is severely distorted.

Replace the nozzle when the orifice is no longer round
or when the inside surface is covered with scale.

Green colored arcs indicate the electrode and/or
nozzle are worn and need to be replaced.
