CONTROL OF THE STEERING FUNCTION
The series 336 vehicles do not have a separate steering pump motor. The required quantity of hydraulic oil
for the cylinder is taken directly from the working hydraulics pump. In order to ensure that the correct quantity
of oil goes to the steering cylinder even when the working hydraulics are being operated, a priority valve for
the steering system is installed in the steering control valve.
As soon as the steering is operated, reed switch 3S1 in the steering control valve is actuated. This switch
is connected to the working hydraulics electronics and it lets the pump motor run at 600 rpm. If the working
hydraulics are not in operation, the pump motor speed is controlled with sensor 2B8.
When the steering is operated, the reed contact in the steering control valve connects battery negative to
2X1:11.
