In Figure 5-22 a new selection, Task, is added to the GPI menu. A Task is list of commands that
can all be performed with a single GPI closure. The creation of scripts for Tasks is covered in
Section 7.
Each GPI can be set up with specific functions for open and pulled to ground states as shown in
Figure 6-19. GPI Function B is shown to illustrate the choices available for each condition of the
GPI. Some functions also allow toggling Lo and Hi states with each state defined separately.
