Point to point mode: 

 

To  put  two  devices  work  in  point  to  point  mode,  we  need  to  set  the 

destination MAC of the pair to be the MAC of the other device (use ATHA 

command). DN of the two devices can be set to 0xFFFFFFFFFFFF, or the 

domain part of DN of source be same as the domain part of destination 

SN. 

 

Broadcast mode: 

To put the device into broadcast mode, MAC addresses of all the devices 

must  be  set  to  broadcast  mode  (FF-FF-FF-FF-FF-FF).  If  DN  of  all  devices 

also  set  to  (0xFFFFFFFFFFFF),  all  devices  are  in  broadcasting  mode.   

Otherwise, it only broadcasts within the same domain where the DN of 

the source is same with the DN of the destination’s SN.
