Uncoupling your locomotive
Y
our locomotive is equipped with two magnetic couplers, which are designed for use with
Remote-Control Track sections (available separately, 6-65149 or 6-12746 for O-27 gauge;
6-65530 for O gauge; or 6-12020 for FasTrack layouts). To uncouple your locomotive, simply
position the uncoupling trigger over the magnet on the Remote-Control Track section and
press UNCOUPLE on the controller. Also, you may use the rolling stock’s uncoupling tabs, if
the car is equipped with this feature. As illustrated in Figure 3, the magnet will pull down the
uncoupling trigger to release the coupler.
