Daily disinfection
Drug chamber, membrane plug, mouthpiece and masks must be disinfected:
1.
Before first use.
2.
When nebulizer has not been used for a long time.
3.
At the end of each day.
Before you start disinfection, clean the elements as specified above.
NOTE:
To disinfect, do not use chemicals as they may damage the elements and above all metal
membrane.
How to disinfect with an acetate solution:
1.
Make a solution with three parts of hot water and one part of white distilled vinegar (synthetic).
2.
Immerse elements in the solution for 30 minutes.
3.
Rinse all elements under running hot water.
4.
Shake surplus of water off and dry elements in the fresh air on the dry and clean towel.
5.
Make sure all parts are fully dry and clean before you hide them or use again.
How to disinfect through boiling:
1.
Boil distilled water.
NOTE:
If you boil (disinfect) elements in the non-distilled water (tap water, bottle water), elements’
life may get shorter.
2.
Insert all elements in the boiling water. Boil for up to 20 minutes.
3.
Take all elements out, shake the surplus of water off and dry elements in the fresh air on the dry
and clean towel.
4.
Make sure all parts are fully dry and clean before you hide them or use again.
