NOTE:
When an FSEB30JWO2-BL rooftop solar electrical box is used, the MC4® to
Furrion connector adapter is not required.
WARNING:
Electrical shock hazard! Do not touch bare conductors or other
potentially energized parts.
–
Any hardware used must be compatible with the mounting structure material to
avoid galvanic corrosion.
–
It is not recommended to use modules with different configurations (grounding,
wiring) in the same system.
–
Do not put solar panels in parallel configuration when upgrading the system to
higher power levels. This may lead to unsafe situations and permanent damage.
–
To upgrade to higher power levels, you can daisy chain solar panels in series
configuration. Refer for further details to the user manual of the connected
solar charger (PWM or MPPT) and check the maximum operating voltage of
that charger or how many panels can be put into series configuration. Consult
a licensed solar electrician for best upgrade recommendations. Ensure any
connecting wires have the proper wire gauge and weather resistant grading as
defined in the NPFA 70 or the RVIA 1192 regulation or federal regulations.
–
The current, voltage, and power characteristics of the solar panel(s) will vary
based on environmental criteria including temperature and solar irradiance.
–
To prevent cables and connectors from overheating, the cross section of the
cables and the capacity of the connectors must be selected to suit the maximum
system short circuit current (The gauge of system cables is determined by the
system designer or installer.).
