OPERATION
5.1.
Safety
WARNING
Removing and opening the blade guard
Severe injury from rotating saw blade.
Never open the blade guard or touch the rotating saw blade
Saw blade may only be changed with the saw blade at a standstill and the machine disconnected
from mains.
WARNING
Cutting process
The operator must start the forwards movement of the saw head by turning the crank
The operator is restricted to standing behind the operating panel of the table saw.
The table saw may only be operated by one person, direct other people away from the cutting
area or block off the area.
5.2.
Preparations for starting
To be able to use the table saw safely and properly, the following pre-requisites must be fulfilled:
•
The masonry saw stands firmly on the table feet
•
The wheel set is dismantled or lifted
•
The table saw has been checked for damage, loose bolts and on the completeness of the attachments
•
The water tray is filled with clean water
•
The water cooling system is complete and functional
•
A suitable saw blade which meets the optimal conditions is mounted
