Installation of the saw blade 

 

 

 

DANGER

 

Removing and opening of the blade guard 

Death or injury from rotating saw blade. 

 

Do not remove or open the blade guard or reach to the saw blade whilst it is cutting. 

 

This work may only be carried out when the saw blade is at a standstill and the drive motor has been 

switched off. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Loosen the hex screws (Item 1) on the blade guard by using the universal tool.  

 

Remove the front sheet metal cover of the blade guard 

 

Remove the flange nut (left-handed thread) by using the universal tool 

 

Remove the flange nut and the thrust washer and put aside 

 

 

When inserting the saw blade, make sure that: 

 

All location surfaces must be clean 

 

The rotation arrows of the saw blade and the blade guard must correspond 

 

Use only diamond saw blades supplied by the manufacturer 

 

 

 

 

Insert the saw blade 

 

Mount and tighten the flange nut and the thrust washer  

 

Mount the front sheet metal cover of the blade guard with the hex screws (Item 1)
