CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
For reasons of hygiene, the inside of the appliance and the accessories must be cleaned
regularly.

efrosting
Unplug the appliance from the mains point before defrosting.
To defrost the appliance:
•
Choose a time when your appliance is not full.
•
Pack your food in a bag and keep it cool (ideally, transfer it to another refrigerator).
•
Leave the refrigerator door open.
•
To speed up the defrosting process, you can place a container filled with hot water
in the "freezer" compartment and close the door.
•
When defrosting is complete, sponge off the defrosted water and clean the cavity.
•
WARNING: Do not use an electric heating device or any other mechanical or
artificial device to accelerate the defrosting process.
•
Do not use aerosol de-icers as they may be hazardous to health and/or contain
substances that could damage the plastic.

Leaning
Unplug the appliance from the power point before cleaning.
1.
Remove fresh food from the refrigerator.
2. Wrap food in several layers of newspaper, cover it and store it in a cool place (ideally,
transfer it to another refrigerator).
3.
Clean the appliance and accessories inside with a soft sponge and soapy, lukewarm
water.
4. After cleaning, rinse with clean water and dry the parts thoroughly.
5. Once everything is dry, the appliance can be turned back on.

Always, keep the door seals clean.
•
Never clean the appliance with a steam cleaner. Moisture could accumulate in the
electrical components, causing a risk of electric shock ! Hot steam can damage
plastic parts. The appliance must be dry before being switched back on.
•
IMPORTANT: When the plastic parts of the refrigerator remain stained with oil for
a long time (animal or vegetable), they deteriorate easily and can crack. Clean and
wash the dirty parts with hot water immediately.
