If you make a mistake, press

to re-enter the
correct number.
Note:
When scheduling timer recording on a disc, the unit automatically
sets the recording quality depending on the length of the recording
item. If you wish to set other modes of recording quality, proceed
with step 11.

press [ENTER] to set the mode of recording
quality.
DVD disc recording mode:
HQ <-> SP <-> EP <->
LP <->SLP
Tape recording mode:
SP <-> SLP

” icon and then press [ENTER] to exit the
“Timer-Record” menu.
If you wish to delete a timer record item, press [

] to move to the “ ” icon and press [ENTER]. The item
is deleted.
11.Press [POWER] to turn off the unit and acti-
vate the timer record function.
Notes:
1.When the timer record function is active, the “Timer” LED on the
display panel will light up.
2. Press [
STOP ] and the recording will be stopped. However,
the recorder may take a few seconds to finish recording on the disc
or tape.
3. Press [DISPLAY] and the timer record information is displayed.
4.Check the status column to see the recording failure analysis:
OK
-
The event is programmed and ready to record.
Error
- There is a problem with the event settings. Change the
settings until the Status is “OK.”
Done
- The event recorded successfully.
Fail
-
The event failed to record. Move the cursor to the
Status column to view the cause of the error (“No Disc,”
“ Media Defect,” “Disc Full,” and etc. ).
