Indicates the area for entering title names.

Indicates the input option of uppercase or
lowercase letters. Press to switch between two
sets of characters.

Indicates the input option of numbers, signs and
punctuation marks.

Indicates the input option of accented letters.
5.
Indicates the corresponding buttons on remote
control. Press one of the buttons to quickly
move to the column where your desired charac-
ters, symbols or function buttons are situated.
For example, press ‘3’ once, the highlighted cursor will move
to the letter ‘D’ on screen. Press ‘3’ twice, the cursor will
move to the letter ‘E’.

Indicates the available characters or symbols.
7. Back
Indicates the function of deleting characters one
by one in a backward direction.
8. Clear
Indicates the function of deleting all characters
shown on the entry bar.
9. Cancel
Indicates the function of discarding changes and
returning to the previous page.
10. Finish
Indicates the function of saving the settings and
exiting the screen.
Using On-Screen Input

Naming a New Title or File

When the keypad screen is displayed, press
and
ENTER
to select one of the
input options.

Press
to select desired letters,
numbers or punctuation marks, then press
ENTER
.
You can enter up to 30 characters for a title name.

If you want to make changes during the pro-
cess, press
to select ‘Back’, which
allows you to delete character by character in a
backward direction, then press
ENTER
.
If you want to delete all the characters you
have entered, press
to select ‘Clear’,
then press
ENTER
.

When completed, press
to select
‘Finish’, then press
ENTER

Note
• The entry bar
CANNOT
be left blank. If such
a condition occurs, you will not be able to exit
the keypad screen. Please follow the instruction
given in the pop-up dialogue box, and go back to
complete the process.
