Two electric valves can also be installed in order
to be able to shut off both the cold and hot water,
such as in an apartment installation.
Position the master unit close to the electric
valves. The cables are approximately 2 m long
and cannot be extended. Attach the master unit
to the wall using suitable screws or install it in an
installation cabinet.

Connecting electric valves
The valves are connected to any terminal marked
'Valves'. If the contact is to be changed during
operation, the power supply must be cut off to
avoid valve failure. This is because valve moni-
toring starts automatically when a valve is con-
nected to a terminal.
Connecting sensors
If leak detection is desired for the master unit, a
sensor is connected to the contact Sensor on the
master unit. A Sensor is always included with the
master unit.
Installing leak detectors
The leak detectors are placed in sites at which
you want to detect potential water leaks. Suitable
locations include the cupboard under the kitchen
sink, under a dishwasher or other household ap-
pliances such as coffee machines, water coolers or
ice-makers. Other options are utility rooms and

System assembly
Installing electric valves
LK Electric valve
Fit the electric valves to the hot and cold water
supply pipes for the relevant room. Installation of
electric valves must be carried out by a qualifi ed
plumber in accordance with industry regulations
for safe water installation.
NOTE!
Install electric valves after any feed to a
safety system that requires water.
Safety systems such as home sprinklers or emer-
gency cooling for a solid fuel boiler etc. should be
connected before the electric valve to avoid any
risk to their water supply. An installation with
a water fi lter that is backwashed should also be
connected before the electric valve to avoid inter-
fering with its function. The system prevents wa-
ter damage that may occur after the electric valve
has been positioned.
Alternatively, LK WSS Mini can be assembled in
a LK Installation cabinet for placement in a wall
or ceiling.
When installing a electric valve in an existing
system, perform a pressure test using the exist-
ing water pressure for the tap water system and
inspect all new joints. If the system is installed in
a new building, perform a pressure test at 1.43 x
estimated pressure, i.e. 14.3 bar and all new joints
are inspected
