Connecting the electric valve

Attach the electric valve cable connector to the

master unit. Connect the electric valve for cold

water to contact 9 and the electric valve for hot

water to contact 8.

NOTE! DIP switch no. 6 should be switched to

ON to activate monitoring of the hot water electric

valve.

If the electric valve's cables have been extended,

the spring terminals can be used instead. These

terminals have the same numbers as contacts 8

and 9. Connect the red cable to R and the black

cable to B.

DIP switches

The master unit has a row of DIP switches at pos

12 with the following functions:

• Select between NC and NO depending on which

PIR sensor is in use. Default is NC. This can be

changed to NO by switching DIP switch no. 1 to

ON.

• The alarm signal on the main unit can be switched

of by switching DIP switch no. 2 to ON.

• The value of the delay timer can be adjusted

using DIP switches 3 and 4. Refer to the matrix

below to set the desired length in hours. Default

is 2 min.

• The temperature alarm can be deactivated by

moving DIP switch no. 5 to ON.

• Valve monitoring for the hot water valve is deac-

tivated on deliverl Activate by moving DIP switch

no. 6 to ON.

When installing a electric valve in an existing sys-

tem, perform a pressure test using the tap water

system's existing water pressure, and inspect all

new joints.

If the system is installed in a new building, per-

form a pressure test at 1.43 x estimated pressure,

i.e. 14.3 bar, and inspect all new joints.

Installing the master unit

Position the master unit close to the electric valves.

The cables are about 0.8 m long and can be extended

up to 3 m using the same cable area (2 x 0.5 mm2).

Fit the antenna included in the socket on top of

the master unit. Attach the master unit to the wall

using suitable screws, install it in an installation

cabinet. If the unit is placed in an LK Installation

Cabinet, the master unit can be mounted using an

LK Bracket WSS or LK Rail WSS Manifold Cabinet

UNI.

Connecting the master unit

Check that the unit’s power supply is not con-

nected and that the unit is not live. Remove the

cover of the master unit. Be careful with the flexible

cable that connects the cover to the circuit board.

The cable is loosened by pulling out the connector

from terminal 13 on the circuit board. When replac-

ing the cover, check that the polished contact pin

faces upwards towards the antenna. Ensure the

flexible cable is not twisted.

Terminals 4 and 9 are spring terminals. Press the

button down to attach the cable. Terminals 10 and

11 are screw terminals.
