SERIES WS 2- F190054000
6. UNIT USE
6.1. Starting and stopping
To start up the unit, press the start button on the motor protector switch located on the control
panel.
To stop the unit, press the off button on the motor protector switch.
6.2. Signalling Devices
Each purifier is equipped with a pressure gauge to monitor the clogging level of the main filter.
Requiring less frequent maintenance intervals, the prefilter stage is not monitored.
It is advisable to have the prefilter stage checked and possibly serviced when maintenance is done on the
main filter stage.
filter conditions can be correctly estimated by the needle position as indicated below:
a)
needle near zero
: no air flow. This may be due to two causes:
- The purifier is off (OFF)
- The pre-filter is clogged
b)
needle between 0.1 and 0.2
: filters clean, unit correctly operating
c)
needle in red zone
: filters highly clogged, replace with new filters
a) Power OFF or filter clogged
b) clean filters
c) final cartridge clogged
Note
In the event of significant quantities of metallic dust or oily sludge, the prefilter stage may
require more frequent maintenance compared to that which is required by the main stage.
In these situations, it is advisable to check the prefilter stage more frequently than is
indicated in the maintenance section.
Upon request, the purifier can be fitted with other control or monitoring devices.
Please contact our sales department for a complete list of control and monitoring devices.
