TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE
SOLUTION
Fryer and power light will
not turn on.
Fryer is not plugged in.
Check connection at outlet.
Circuit breaker has tripped.
Reset circuit breaker. Make sure other
appliances are not operating on the same
circuit.
The power light is on but
the fryer isn’t heating.
Boil or Fry button has not been
pressed.
After power is turned on, press the Boil or Fry
button to begin heating.
The Pour button has been pressed.
The Pour button will begin the cool
down process.

and then on again. Then press
the Boil or Fry button to begin heating.
Water has evaporated or pot wasn’t

lled before starting.

, add water or oil and restart
the fryer.
Fryer takes a long time to
heat water or oil.

Place fryer close enough to an outlet so that
an extension cord is not required. Use of an
extension cord is not recommended.

Place lid on the cooking pot to retain heat.
Oil or water leaks from
under lid and spills over the

There is too much oil or water in the
fryer.

Dry food thoroughly before placing in fryer to
remove excess water/moisture.

retain heat for long periods of time.
It could take several hours for the liquid to
cool to a safe pouring temperature. Once the
liquid falls below 115ºF (46ºC) the Pour light
will turn o
ff
and liquid will be safe to pour.
