INTERFACE DESCRIPTION
Connect the drawer to the computer USB port. The drawer works with
USB interface and gets it’s power from the USB port.
Before working with the drawer, USB driver has to be installed. In
order to work with software that were written to work with COM ports
only, the driver is designed to present the USB drawer as a virtual
COM port device. That is, it works as if it is connected to a COM port.
Whenever the POS application software sends a pre-set open
command code to the virtual COM port, the drawer will be opened.
The open command code is set by the programming utility and it can
be 1 to 5 bytes long.
