Moving your devices around
Moving parts in your RF System
You may need to move some of your devices around in your entertainment system.
First, you need to make sure your Blasters are placed properly for the devices to receive signals
from them. For more help, go to
Moving your Blaster and Mini Blasters around.
If you have assigned any of your devices to specific ports in your Blaster, you want to make sure
the correct Blaster is in front of that device in order for it to work properly. For more information
on assigning ports, go to
Assigning a device to a specific port on the Blaster.
You may want to change how your devices are set up in your home entertainment system.
In order to make sure your RF system continues to work the way you want, it’s a good idea to check
the following things after you have moved pieces around in your system:
Check you have placed your Blaster and Mini Blasters correctly. You should have a maximum
ONE Blaster OR Mini Blaster PER SHELF. Each piece should be placed slightly in front of the devices.
One Blaster or Mini Blaster can control side-by-side and stacked devices.
Your Blasters emit a signal to the IR sensor located on your devices. These sensors are usually located
on the front panel.
