Adding the Probes and the Power Supply
Before the UTREL30-WiFi can record temperature data you will need to connect an
external probe. The UTREL30-WiFi accepts any ST10 probe (including an STX50
extension).
Remove the small round socket protector for the channel you wish to use. The battery
compartment is a good place to keep any spare protectors.
Plug the probe's connector into the socket located at the bottom of the device, as
shown.
For stationary applications we strongly recommend you
connect a power supply (see ).
Remove the protective cap and insert the USB connector.
Note that the wider part of the connector is oriented towards
the rear of the product.
Using the LogTag
®
Mobile app
UTREL30-WiFi loggers can be connected to your wireless network and set up for logging
using LogTag North America's smart device app
LogTag
®
Mobile.
This app is available
as a free download from both the Apple App Store for iOS devices and the Google Play
Store for Android devices.
Before starting this process, please enable the Bluetooth function on your smart
device, and make sure you are connected to the same wireless network you want
to connect the UTREL30-WiFi to.
At the moment, you can only use the app if your wireless network uses the
WPA2/PSK authentication method. If you wish to connect to an open network, or
a network with enterprise authentication, you must use the LogTag
®
Online
Connection Wizard.
Once you have downloaded the app, start it and sign in to LogTag
®
Online using the
account that you want to use with this UTREL30-WiFi.
