Airplane Mode
A UTREL30-WiFi can be switched to airplane mode to comply with airlines' regulations
for wireless transmission in aircraft. You can enable Airplane mode using the buttons on
the UTREL30-WiFi:
l
Press and hold the
Channel/
FUNCTION
and
START
/CLEAR/STOP
buttons simultaneously.
l
Keep holding the buttons while the Airplane
mode symbol ( ) on the display blinks.
l
After approximately 6 seconds the symbol
stops blinking and turns on permanently.
Release the buttons.
Airplane Mode is now turned on, and all wireless
functionality is disabled. Cloud and WiFi connection
symbols are off.
After removal of the logger from the aircraft, airplane mode can be turned off, using the
exact same procedure:

Press and hold the
Channel/
FUNCTION
and
START
/CLEAR/STOP
buttons simultaneously.
l
Keep holding the buttons while the Airplane
mode symbol ( ) on the display blinks.
l
After approximately 6 seconds the symbol
stops blinking and turns on (!) permanently.
Release the buttons.
Airplane Mode is now turned off, and the wireless
functionality is enabled. Cloud and WiFi connection
symbols will turn on successively as they go
through the process of connecting to
LogTag
®
Online.
Replacing the Batteries
When the display shows that the battery is almost empty (
) new batteries should be
fitted. Open the case as described in
Inserting the Batteries on page 17
. Remove the old
batteries and complete the remainder of the procedure.
