Warranty and guarantee
The manufacturer's guarantee is 5 years for the welded boiler body and 2 years for electronic
components. The guarantee expressly covers all defects in material and manufacturing.
A pre-condition for claiming under the guarantee is that the device is correctly installed and
operated according to the LOHBERGER HEIZTECHNIK operating instructions current on the date of
purchase. Connection must be carried out by a technician trained in the installation of the boilers.
The guarantee does not cover WEAR PARTS such as glass, paint, surface coatings (e.g. handles,
facings), seals, fire pans/grates, grate linings (e.g. firebricks), ceramics, natural stone, ignition
elements, sensors, etc.
Also excluded is DAMAGE arising or caused by non-observance of the manufacturer’s instructions
for operation of the boiler (e.g. overheating, use of non-permitted fuels, improper interference with
the device, electrical over-voltage, incorrect chimney draught on the boiler, missed or inadequate
servicing and cleaning, etc) or incorrect operation by the operator or third parties, etc.
Use only LOHBERGER HEIZTECHNIK recommended and supplied spare parts. Non-observance
means the guarantee is void.
To ensure prompt limitation of damage the GUARANTEE CLAIM must be submitted by the claimant
to a LOHBERGER HEIZTECHNIK dealer with the invoice and details of the order number, model
name, serial number, purchase date as well as the grounds for the complaint in writing.
REPLACEMENT UNDER THE GUARANTEE comprises the free delivery of spare parts.
Hours worked and travelling time are not covered under the manufacturer’s guarantee.
All other costs (e.g. transport, repairs, travelling time, … ) incurred by the manufacturer due to an
unjustified guarantee claim will be borne by the claimant.
This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights. The United Nations Convention on Contracts
for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded.
Guarantee conditions outside Austria can be obtained directly from our overseas representatives
and commercial partners.
The warranty and guarantee is void in the event of:
damage due to fire, flood, lightning, frost or other force majeure events
Wilful damage
Incorrect cleaning, operation and servicing
No energy supply and lack of water
No system separation when using oxygen impervious sealed floor pipes
Non-compliance with planning documents, and operating and installation instructions
Improvements or modifications to the boiler or control system by unauthorised persons or
companies
Combustion of fuels that are not suitable according to the operating instructions
